When I first started taking pictures a few years ago, I was all about “How” to take pictures and “How” other people made beautiful pictures. As time went on and I learned more, my way of thinking changed. The “how” became less important to me, and I became more interested in the “why.”
As time went on, I became increasingly interested in the inspirations and goals that drive artists’ creations. the insatiable desire to discover the source of their inspiration, the will to persevere in the face of the reality that there may be no material or social reward for their efforts.
It’s easy to find out “how” people do something, but it’s much harder to find out “why” they do it. This series will be about creative ideas and photography, and I’ll also be focusing on “Why” instead of “How” behind every project I work on.

If there is a “Why” that ends up making me do one project rather than some other.
In future collaborations, we’ll find out the “why” behind other artists I’ve worked with or learned from. etc.
“He who has a why to live for can bear almost any how.” said Friedrich Nietzsche. He’s correct. It was clear in three projects I did: my DDB assignment, my underwater lighting design, and my x-ray project, which I will talk about later
I am hoping to create an interactive platform to discuss such matters. I personally would love to know about your “Why’s”.
